NPT Reimbursement
Non-Public Transportation Reimbursement
Families of students attending Grand View Christian School may be eligible for transportation reimbursement from their resident public school district, as provided under Iowa law.
Eligibility:
- K–8 students: Must live more than 2 miles from GVCS.
- 9–12 students: Must live more than 3 miles from GVCS.
- Families may claim reimbursement for up to three K–8 students and one high school student per household.
1st Semester Deadline:
All reimbursement claims must be submitted to your resident public school district by December 1, 2025.
How to Submit:

- Find the school district where you live — this determines whether your district uses an online submission form or a paper form.
- Online forms must be submitted directly to your district by the December 1 deadline.
- Paper forms may be:
- Submitted directly to your resident public school district listed at the bottom of the form by the December 1 deadline, or
- Please drop off forms to DeeDee Burt (MS/HS Office) or email them to dburt@gvcsmail.org by November 24. She will forward them for you.
Your resident public school district will process all payments after the school year ends, once funding is received from the State of Iowa. Reimbursement checks from your resident public school district for both semesters will be mailed to parents in the late summer of 2026.
We’ll share information again in January regarding second-semester reimbursement requests. Please note that this current submission is for the first semester only. Requests for the second semester cannot be submitted at this time and will not be accepted if attempted.
