We are delighted to announce a significant milestone in the history of our school: the dedication of our new Activities Center to Dick & Nita McWilliams. The new Activities Center will be named the McWilliams Activities Center (MAC). This honor comes in recognition of their extraordinary dedication and service to Grand View Christian School for 44 years and their steadfast commitment to Christian education in Des Moines. Over the years, Dick & Nita McWilliams have embodied the values and mission of our school through their unwavering support, leadership, and selfless contributions. Their impact has touched the lives of countless students, families, and staff members, leaving an indelible mark on our community. The new Activities Center stands as a testament to their legacy and serves as a symbol of gratitude for their tireless efforts in advancing our school’s mission. Thank you for your continued commitment to Grand View Christian School and for joining us in honoring these remarkable individuals who have enriched our community in so many ways.
ACTIVITIES CENTER
As a critical Next Step, the school plans to build an Activities Center, which will provide flexible space for a variety of activities that benefit students, families and the community. The location positions us well to serve the fast-paced growth of the NE Des Moines community, including the suburbs of Ankeny, Bondurant, Runnells, Altoona and Pleasant Hill.
DEBT REDUCTION/FACULTY COMPENSATION
The quality of our academic programs relies on a dedicated team deeply passionate about providing high-quality Christian education.
We are excited about reducing debt and investing additional resources into our faculty in order to attract and retain the best Christian educators in our region.
